WORK EXPERIENCE August 2006 - Present The SYNNEX Corporation Graphic Designer My responsibilities run the gamut from complex print design such as catalogs or print-on-demand pieces, comprehensive branding including logo design and identity systems, complete online solutions for company divisions or programs, to event materials and digital signage. While at SYNNEX, I contributed substantially to the SYNNEX National Conference 2008 Program Guide, for which the Marketing and Communications Department received an “American In-House Design Award” from Graphic Design USA. Additionally in 2008 I set up a resource management application to assist with purchased stock assets, and made a broad push for the company to adopt a content management system. After setting up a test case and getting approval, the company is now expanding the effort company wide. This year, I've started exploring Drupal as a more robust CMS that is more fitting for an enterprise-level company like SYNNEX. I particularly like Drupal's taxonomy system and superior development model.
